AirStone is made from an ultra-light material that provides the beauty, texture, feel and durability of real stone without the need for professional installers or specialized tools.

AirStone is easy to install.  Simply apply adhesive to the back of the stone and press to the wall! AirStone is strong and light … so light it can be adhered directly onto drywall and most surfaces.  What once took days of messy construction can now be accomplished in just a few hours.

Thinking AirStone? Consider this!

What can you do with AirStone?

Indoor Projects: AirStone is ideal for interior décor projects.  Simply apply an adequate amount of AirStone Interior Adhesive to the back of the stone (think icing a cupcake, not buttering toast) and press to the wall. If the substrate is painted, the paint must be in good condition (no flaking or peeling).  Approved interior substrates include drywall, brick, tile, stone, stucco, cement board, concrete block, glass, metal. *Note regarding wood: AirStone Interior Adhesive is water-based, and wood can move when exposed to water.  To be safe, we recommend the use a polyurethane construction adhesive, because it is not water-based.

Outdoor Projects: Airstone is ideal for adhering onto weatherproof outdoor walls (i.e. brick, stucco, exposed concrete foundations, concrete block, etc.).  Airstone is also ideal for outdoor projects that are unattached to the home, such as outdoor kitchens, columns, around pools, patios and porches, retaining walls, mailboxes, etc.  AirStone in itself is not waterproof.  We do not recommend using AirStone as the shell of your home, because wood or cement board sheathing fastened directly to the frame of a home will absorb water, settle, expand or contract, and if Airstone is adhered directly onto that sheathing, water penetration, adhesion problems, or stone cracking may occur.

AirStone is available in three colors — what we call “collections” — that complement a wide variety of interior and exterior décors. Each collection is made up of stones of varying sizes and color tones. All have the texture, feel and durability of real stone  — but weigh 75% less.

Samples are available for a flat fee of $20 for all three Quarry Blends. If you end up using AirStone for a project, we will refund the $20 back in the form of an egift-card from the store in which you purchased your AirStone (Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, Menards)!

Quarry Blend colors are Autumn Mountain (cream/brown), Spring Creek (tones of grey), and Birch Bluff (white/neutral/ivory). AirStone is designed for the do-it-yourselfer.  It goes up quickly and easily — even around corners and edges.  It’s great for indoor or outdoor use.  For indoor projects, use AirStone Interior Adhesive.  For outdoor projects, use a premium polyurethane construction adhesive (we recommend Loctite PL Premium Polyurethane Construction Adhesive).
