Take your time

Be patient!  Other optional tools help (grinder, table saw).  The finished product looks outstanding.  A low luster sealant makes the project pop, with enhanced natural color.  — Mark

Our kitchen and bath

By admin2 in Finished ProjectsComments (0)

We used air stone on an entire wall in our half bath renovation. We also used the same air stone on our kitchen island we built from scratch to match the half bathroom.  Love it!   Jessica

My AirStone project…

We used both Autumn Mountain and Spring Creek to create this. To give you scale to the room this wall is 18 feet high. We wanted to do something different to break up this large wall.  We love it!!!    — Mary

Couldn’t be happier

I have been working on a project around my fireplace the past couple of days. I think it’s a great product and it looks awesome if I do say so myself.  That is a limestone hearth that weighed a ton installing. But I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.  — Dan

Don’t be intimidated…

I was a little intimidated when I started this project as I am not a handyman at all but it was very simple.  Tips for installation: Chalk or draw some horizontal lines on your surface before you start so you can keep reasonably level.  Pieces adhere to almost any surface.  I put them over existing tile and drywall.  You will occasionally need to cut some small pieces.  I used a circular saw for the first half then went to a mitre saw and the pieces were very easy to cut.  I had approximately 120 sq ft with several openings, fireplace, etc. and the project took me about 20 hours.  The first 3 hours or so went very slowly as I was learning on the job but then it picked right up.  Great finished look and fun project.  I am looking for my next spot to rock right away!   — Don

Upscale and awesome!

We used Air Stone on 2 walls in our master bath. The bath now has a steam shower and a sauna. The stone walls really add to the upscale spa look we were going for!   — Robert

Looks amazing!

I’ve been looking and thinking about AirStone for quite a while and finally decided to take the plunge and tackle my kitchen. I am so glad I did! It was pretty easy to work with, I used extender boxes to bring my outlets out flush with the stone. I did have to make a few custom cuts around the outlets because the home builder put 7 outlets in the kitchen and they weren’t all straight or inline with each other so that made it a little difficult. I used my Dremel tool with the diamond blade to make those custom cuts and it worked like a charm! Added the under cabinet lighting and it looks amazing! My last step in completing my kitchen is new crown molding on top and bottom of the cabinets and re-staining them a darker color. Thanks for making such an easy product to work with!  — Yvette

Pretty sweet!

By admin2 in Finished ProjectsComments (0)

We started with a blank slate that needed some character. AirStone was very easy to use and installation was pretty straightforward. The most difficult part of the project was the slope at the top of the fireplace. I poured a matching concrete hearth and made the mantle as well. The entire project took me about three weekends. It was slow toward the end trying to reach the 28 foot ceiling height. I suggest this product to anyone trying to update a space in their home. The wife loves it and I think it turned out pretty sweet also!   — Adam
