Some imitators are made from painted polyurethane foam or printed wallpaper that may look similar in photos but feel cheap and temporary, unlike real masonry. AirStone’s rock-hard construction conveys authenticity, craftsmanship, and lasting quality that foam-based imitations simply can’t replicate.
AirStone is easy to install. Simply apply adhesive to the back of the stone and press to the wall! AirStone is strong and light … so light it can be adhered directly onto drywall and most surfaces. What once took days of messy construction can now be accomplished in just a few hours.
What can AirStone do for your home?
Indoor Projects: AirStone is ideal for interior décor projects. Simply apply an adequate amount of AirStone Interior Adhesive to the back of the stone (think icing a cupcake, not buttering toast) and press to the wall. If the substrate is painted, the paint must be in good condition (no flaking or peeling). Approved interior substrates include drywall, brick, tile, stone, stucco, cement board, concrete block, glass, metal. *Note regarding wood: AirStone Interior Adhesive is water-based. Some wood products, particularly pressboard, may absorb moisture and move, which can affect adhesion. Solid hardwood is generally suitable. Test first or use a polyurethane construction adhesive (such as Loctite 3X PL Premium).
